A fabulous antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Suffragette ring claw set with two 0.20ct Peridot’s, six Diamonds and a central 0.45ct Amethyst. Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement. It popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to emphasize femininity and put down masculine women’s rights stereotypes. Green was for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes! A stylish Suffragette piece and very eye-catching.
