A stunning Antique Edwardian ring crowned with twin Old European cut Diamonds set in Platinum claw settings. The Diamonds are approx. 0.50ct each and have exceptional sparkle with VS 1 clarity and H colour.
The shank is 18ct Yellow Gold and has a lovely twisted design that curves into the Diamonds at the front. It has been assayed in Birmingham more recently in the year 2000 and complete with hallmarks and a Millennium stamp.
A date is also engraved inside the shank and reads: R to M - 10/7/56 which may have been the date the ring was gifted or proposed with. It was likely much beloved and could make a fabulous engagement ring once more.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
