This fabulous antique Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond ring is a perfect example of the craftsmanship of this period. Showcasing three deep blue Sapphires interspersed with two sparkling old cut Diamonds, this magnificent five stone ring is a truly beautiful piece.
The blue Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and strength and has been adored throughout history for its deep royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
Each of the stones has been carefully set into a fancy Edwardian gallery, with each stone held securely in claw settings. The large central Sapphire and its two smaller companions add up to a total of 1.10ct, with 1ct total of accompanying Diamonds.
This is a truly spectacular piece, and would be at home in the most refined of company.
